LEGS: Leaders Engaged in Group Service
The Rotary Club of Damariscotta-Newcastle now has a "satellite" meeting, 2nd Tuesday, 5-6 pm... comprised of several members who cannot make the early morning traditional meetings and several new Rotarians. One meeting a month will be safely in person and the second "meeting" will be assisting local community groups/projects.
Their first project was staffing the Back-to-School Bash at the Y. distributing backpacks with school supplies via drive through. In spite of wet weather, everyone had fun and supplied over 160 students.
