ANNUAL LIONS/ROTARY AUCTION FRIDAY AUGUST 10TH
Our annual live and silent auction held with the Damariscotta-Newcastle Lions Club was a fun evening. The Lincoln Academy Dining Commons saw about 50 people getting some fab bargains on silent auction items and lively bidding on larger ticket items. John Bottero of Thomaston Place Auction house once again generously donated his time and talents to support our two clubs in their support of local programs. Items ranged from restaurant meals to boats to a spa day for your car and finished (because it will be cold again someday soon) with 100 gallons of fuel/propane from Colby & Gale. Experiences such as lobsterman-for-a-day or lobster bakes or a ride to work in a fire truck or a plane ride over the MidCoast raised $$$ and will provide hours of fun in the future. A cash bar was provided by Damariscotta River Grill. THANX to all who donated and attended and enjoyed great food.
