Social and Economics of Climate Changes in Maine

Riley Stevenson is a climate activist from Waldoboro. She has worked on local and statewide climate initiatives in the spheres of advocacy, activism, and policy change. She is most interested in the social and economic impacts of the climate crisis on Maine's communities, and on solving problems related to disconnect between those creating policy surrounding this issue and those being impacted by it. She graduated from Lincoln Academy in 2021, took a gap year which brought her as far away as central Chile and as close to home as Portland, and is now studying Environmental Studies and International and Public Affairs at Brown University.
